SOC-CMM Lead Auditor
In this two-day course, you will gain an in-depth understanding of the entire SOC-CMM certification process and the associated certification scheme.
You will learn how Security Operations Centres function, how the SOC-CMM model is structured, and how SOC-CMM assessments are conducted and evaluated. In addition, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of how SOC-CMM is applied within formal certification processes. You will discover how to plan, prepare and carry out audit activities, and how to record the results in a careful and consistent manner. This training supports you in the transition from self-assessment to formal SOC certification and helps you to conduct audits in a professional and structured manner.
Exam and certification
This course includes an exam voucher which allows you to take the exam to become a SOC-CMM Lead Auditor (SOC-LA). Upon successful completion of the exam and registration with the SECO Institute, you will receive an official certificate. The SOC-LA certification is valid for one year and can be renewed if you meet the continuing professional development (CPD) requirements by registering your CPD points with the SECO Institute.
Benefits of certification
With SOC-LA certification, you demonstrate that you possess the knowledge and expertise to professionally audit SOCs and guide them towards certification. The qualification enhances your professional credibility and contributes to your career development in the fields of security operations, auditing and compliance. Furthermore, the certification helps organisations to demonstrably improve their security processes and maturity levels. SOC-CMM Lead Auditors are only authorised to conduct audits if they are employed by an officially recognised SOC-CMM certification partner.
