BIO 2 Update Course

This course is designed for professionals who already have (extended) knowledge of the Baseline Informatiebeveiliging Overheid (BIO) and need to have a quick understanding of the latest changes introduced in the BIO 2.

With a practical focus, the course explains the main differences compared to BIO 1.4, the alignment with NIS2 and the upcoming Cybersecurity Act, and the integration with other relevant standards.

Exam and Certification:

This course does not include an exam. Upon completion of the course, you will receive a Certificate of Participation.

Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Be up-to-date with all changes from BIO 1.4 up to BIO 2;
  • Understand the relationship between BIO 2, NIS2, and the Cybersecurity Act;
  • Understand how BIO 2 aligns with ISO 27001, ISO 27002, NEN 7510, and CSIR;
  • Receive practical guidance on preparing their organisation for BIO 2 implementation.

Pre-requisites

Knowledge of BIO 1.4 through certification or practical experience is strongly recommended.
