During this course, you will receive an introduction to the main requirements and methodologies of environmental and energy management systems according to the latest ISO 14001 and 50001 standards and in compliance with the ISM code. 
Specific focus will be given to applicability in the Cruise sector.

The importance of having and maintaining an efficient environmental & energy management system grows ever stronger in the maritime field. This course gives an introduction to the modern methodology of environmental & energy management systems based on ISO High level Structure, PDCA and the Process concept. With a practice-oriented and customized approach you should be able to apply ISO methodologies for implementation and continual improvement of your environmental & energy management systems on board.

You will understand how environmental & energy management systems can be established as powerful and efficient management tools to strengthen the environmental, energy as well as business performance. 

State of the art interactive teaching methods are employed during the course to ensure that the learning is effective. During group activities, you will become familiar with suitable tools for environmental & energy management systems.
