Next Level QMS Assessment Course

A two-day course designed to provide you with a validated methodology for assessing your organization's Quality Management System (QMS) against best practice standards.

This course will facilitate and support your continual improvement journey towards excellence in quality and business management.

As a part of the course material, every participant will also be provided with DNV’s Business Excellence Protocol, as well as an online scoring tool to assess your management system maturity.

The Protocol fully covers but goes beyond ISO 9001 requirements and addresses best practices from ISO 9004 and methodologies endorsed by the EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) and MBNQA (Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award) Excellence models.

In addition, it incorporates practices based on DNV’s extensive management system expertise and experience with high-performing companies globally.

This course includes 2 full-day modules (8 hours each) and it can be provided either as:

  • Classroom training
  • Tutored online/virtual training
  • In-company training

It provides comprehensive training on DNV’s Business Excellence Protocol, covering all 14 elements, the associated methodology and techniques, as well as the online scoring tool.

At the end of the first day, participants will complete a short assignment to apply what they have learned. This assignment will be presented and discussed at the beginning of the second day, encouraging peer interaction, sharing experiences, and alignment with both peers and the trainer.

The attendance for the full two days is mandatory to receive a certificate of completion.

Every 90 minutes there will be a short break of 10 minutes in addition to the lunch break.

Objective:

Upon completion of the course, you will:

  • Have gained insight into the principles, requirements and best practices that enable a shift from ISO 9001 compliance to management system excellence and improved business performance.
  • Be ready to use a systematic approach and effective tool to assess your management system maturity, allowing you to create a company-specific roadmap for continual improvement.

Prerequisites:

For successful completion of this course attendees should have prior knowledge of:

  • Robust and sound experience in quality management.
  • Knowledge/experience with ISO 9001 and its application.
  • Preferably some knowledge/experience with ISO 9004 and continual improvement.
  • Experience with organizing/conducting internal quality audits.

Audience:

This course is suitable for Experienced Quality Managers and Quality Internal Auditors with a drive to lift their company’s QMS and aiming for Business Excellence using a proven and systematic approach.
