Entrance requirementsWho should attend: Shore and ship staff with a managerial or supervisory role who are seeking to explore and strengthen their personal skills as leaders. Duration: 1 day classroom training or 2 half days (virtual classroom training) |
With a focus on anger management, the programme will explore essential leadership techniques such as negotiation, conflict resolution, and providing feedback, while fostering emotional intelligence. Through this programme, the participants will learn how to maintain a positive, productive work environment, even in the face of challenging circumstances.
Format: Highly interactive, with role-playing, group discussions, and practical exercises to enhance learning and engagement.

- Managing emotional responses when giving/receiving feedback and how to foster a growth-oriented mindset.
- Using emotional intelligence to deliver feedback in a way that encourages collaboration, improvement and psychological safety.
- Conflict Management
- Conflict management styles
- Effective strategies for resolving conflicts before they escalate, with a focus on maintaining professionalism and productivity.
- Critical Thinking
- Developing critical thinking skills to remain objective and balanced, even in emotionally intense situations.
