The 2026 DNV Nordic Maritime Universities (NMU) workshop was held in Tromsø on 29–30 January, marking the 26th edition of the long‑standing DNV–NMU collaboration.
Over two days, the event brought together researchers, educators, and industry representatives from across Europe, providing a valuable arena for knowledge sharing and professional networking. In total, 78 participants from 26 organizations took part.
We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of the workshop, with a special thank you to UiT – The Arctic University of Norway in Tromsø – for hosting the event.

We are already looking forward to next year’s workshop, which will be held at the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) in Kiel, Germany. More information about this will be shared in due course.
