Anne Sophie Sagbakken Ness (Consultant DNV Environment Advisory), will speak in Session 18 on the economic feasibility study of retrofitting a RoPax ferry. The case study aims to provide an insight to the ferry industry on potential decarbonization strategies and bring onboard carbon capture on the table as a real solution for decarbonization of the ferry fleet. Findings will contribute to the broader discourse on maritime decarbonization, emphasizing the critical balance between economic feasibility and environmental responsibility.
