DNV-RP-A102 Fire detector mapping

The objective of this recommended practice (RP) is to improve process safety by defining a method to determine the appropriate number, location, and orientation of flame detectors in process facilities.

The scope of the RP is flame detection for typical industrial process facilities found onshore and offshore. It covers flame detection in process facilities processing flammable liquid or gas.

The approach assumes a 2ooN detection philosophy. However, the approach remains valid for unvoted detection.
