What is better than learning about your favorite DNV Synergi product from the comfort of your home?
For many years we’ve been thinking about online training and we’ve certainly thought about it a lot, but it was in March we realized it was now or never! We adapted to the global crisis, and our Synergi Products’ training courses went virtual in May. But what’s amazing is the tremendous response we have received from our customers!
We have conducted 10 virtual instructor-led training courses and with nearly 100 attendees later, the praise is still flowing in. The virtual training courses have achieved a general satisfaction score of 87.8%, and the attendees seem to be very happy with the new format, the training materials, and most importantly the expertise of our trainers. We are looking forward to hosting roughly 10 more courses before the end of the year and seats are already quickly filling.

Virtual training to augment our popular training sessions for Synergi products
I’m happy to report that we’ve tested out multiple different platforms and found that we can work with just about any of them, but most importantly people have really loved the fact that they can continue to learn about the product. We’ve established our best practices, such as keeping each day of class at roughly four hours and maintaining a limit of 12 attendees per session so we can give each person some individual attention. We are striving to emphasize interaction and encouraging attendees to ask questions and interrelate in this learning model.
Virtual courses for Synergi products have given us the opportunity to expand our geographical reach, target new avenues, and be more flexible with the course structure. While we can’t wait to restart our classroom sessions and interact with our customers face-to-face, virtual training will continue to be a viable training option for us and is here to stay.
