WindFarmer for Energy Assessment (Virtual Course)

Harness wind energy potential with WindFarmer intuitive learning program

Description

A convenient and flexible way to learn wind energy assessment workflow with WindFarmer. The public training course is suitable for those with a basic understanding of wind energy assessment to experts in wind energy industry.

Target group

Suitable for participants with a grounding in wind farm design and energy assessment but who are new to WindFarmer. The aim is to equip the participants with hands-on experience required to use the latest WindFarmer: Analyst software for energy assessments and evaluation of wind farm design choices.

Format

This public training is delivered as a combination of teacher led sessions via video conference and walkthrough software exercises using a fictitious onshore demo project. The course is run over 3 x 3hr sessions.

What attendees will learn

  • Understand the role of WindFarmer in the wind farm development workflow.
  • Use validated turbine interaction models to generate financeable energy yield results.
  • Explore tools for evaluating different wind farm design scenarios.
