Engineering analysis of fixed and floating OWT structures
Sesam for offshore wind is a tailor-made solution for structural strength analysis of both fixed and floating offshore wind turbine structures. Accounting for the combined effect of wind on the turbine blades and hydrodynamic loads on the support structure, ultimate limit state (ULS) and fatigue analysis can be performed on the supporting structures, be they fixed (gravity based or piled to the sea-bed) or floating (moored/tethered) vessels.
