When performing ultimate limit state (ULS) and fatigue limit state (FLS) analyses of jacket structures, engineers need to account for dynamic effects - a process that can take up a lot of their time. Using the equivalent static load (ESL) is a simple and straightforward alternative. The method enables running FLS and ULS on piles without performing multi-staged, error-prone tasks.
Watch this webinar video to discover when, why and how to perform ESL in Sesam.
