Course summary
The three-day course will start with an introduction to electricity markets and organisation. It will then study demand forecasting and provide an introduction to generation planning. The next two days will address generation planning in more detail, transmission planning, investment appraisal, economic and financial analysis and social and environmental aspects. Various tools will be introduced along with illustrative examples. During the interactive course, participants will be encouraged to actively participate in discussions and short exercises.
