How our centre of excellence  designation supports you  

DNV’s (OCED) is a comprehensive recognition program that certifies hospitals and ambulatory surgery centres (ASCs) demonstrating exceptional performance and integration across multiple orthopaedic specialties from diagnosis and surgical intervention to rehabilitation and follow-up. 

To achieve this designation, an organization must obtain DNV certification in at least three distinct orthopaedic-related service lines such as adult or paediatric spine surgery, hip and knee replacement, foot and ankle surgery, or shoulder surgery. 

The designation process includes an annual on-site audit conducted by experienced DNV clinical surveyors, who evaluate not only compliance with guidelines but also system-wide quality practices, data usage, team integration, and patient engagement strategies.
