Case study video: Hydrodynamic optimization of semi-submersibles for better sea keeping performance

The study shows the general work flow in Sesam CAESES on the basis of a semi-submersible case study. This process is driven by the sea-keeping results provided by Sesam HydroD, which has been coupled with Sesam CAESES ("Simulation-Driven Design").

Both the presentation in the beginning and the following software demo show the "big five" required steps: Parametric Geometry, Pre-Processing, Software Connection, Post-Processing, Shape Variation & Optimization.
