Industrial Decarbonization utilizing CCS and Hydrogen in the Netherlands

This study, conducted by DNV on behalf of the NGO Clean Air Task Force (CATF), shows that replacing existing grey hydrogen production with low carbon or green hydrogen alone could meet 60% of the Dutch industrial emissions target, but requires the acceleration of policy support. It also finds that, although policy instruments are not yet sufficient to lift the H2 economy, recently announced policy measures should contribute to correcting the Dutch emissions reduction trajectory.
