To deal or not to deal with grid congestion?

Financing the energy transition – insights for the finance community

In the near term, transmission and distribution grid constraints are emerging as the key bottleneck for renewable electricity expansion and related distributed energy assets such as grid-connected storage and EV charging. Are these bottlenecks dampening the required energy transition development towards a net-zero system, or are there good practices to deal with them?

In this panel discussion, streamed from Warsaw on 11 April 2024, moderator Martijn Maandag (Director Due Diligence and Global Key Account Manager, DNV) will explore these questions with his guests Ewa Banasiuk, Head of Renewable Power Poland at DNB Bank, Mateusz Tylecki, Head of Assets at Qair Energy and Michal Zbronski, Senior Electrical Engineer at DNV.
