The objective of this recommended practice (RP) is to describe a method for establishing and maintaining a risk-based inspection (RBI) plan for offshore pressure systems. It provides guidelines and recommendations which can be used to customize methods and working procedures that support the inspection planning process.
The RP is divided into two parts covering (1) an introduction to RBI; and (2) recommendations for a working process. More detailed material is presented in the appendices.
