This standard (ST) provides principles and technical requirements for the control and protection systems for wind turbines onshore and offshore.
The objectives of this ST are to:
- provide an acceptable level of safety and quality by defining minimum requirements for the control and protection system of wind turbines
- serve as design basis for designers, suppliers, purchasers and regulators
- specify requirements for wind turbines subject to DNV certification.
