DNV-SE-0120 Certification of wave energy converters and arrays

This service specification (SE) presents the principles and procedures for DNV services with respect to the certification of WECs, components, and arrays. Both bottom-fixed and floating WECs are covered.

The document provides:

• certification requirements for control of risk from concept to project consisting of array(s) of multiple devices
• a common platform describing the scope and extent of verification activities for the certification of wave energy converters (WECs) and arrays
