DNV to class MPV newbuilds at Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders
DNV has signed a newbuilding contract to class 3 Multi-Purpose Vessels (MPV) at Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders, with an option to class a further 3 vessels.
Featuring battery hybrid propulsion, the 7,500 dwt newbuilds owned by Danish shipowner Navi Merchants is planned for delivery in 2026.
Under the close supervision of our dedicated team in India, DNV will oversee the newbuilding process to ensure that the vessels are built to the necessary quality and safety specifications for future operations in Europe once delivered.
