DNV Cyber wins Finnish Customs contract for cybersecurity and data protection expert services

DNV Cyber has won a public tender issued by Finnish Customs (Tulli) for cybersecurity and data protection expert services. The value of the agreement is approximately EUR 2.6 million.

The procurement was conducted through a restricted procedure, with quality weighted at 60 percent and price at 40 percent. DNV Cyber’s tender was selected as the winning bid among three submissions.

Under the agreement, DNV Cyber will provide expert resources to support Finnish Customs’ cybersecurity and data protection needs, including services related to digital forensics and incident response (DFIR).

DNV Cyber provides digital forensics and incident response services designed to support organizations operating in security critical and regulated environments. The approach combines technical investigation capabilities with an understanding of operational, legal and regulatory requirements, enabling structured handling of cyber incidents from initial analysis and containment through to recovery and lessons learned.

The contract is part of a broader Hansel procurement framework, through which Finnish public sector organizations can acquire cybersecurity and data protection expert services, as well as related solutions.

Finnish Customs operates in a highly digitalized and security critical environment. We are pleased to support their work with expert services that strengthen preparedness, resilience and the secure handling of data.
