DNV, the independent assurance and risk management provider, has appointed Annika Nevaste as the new Chief Executive Officer of its rapidly growing cybersecurity services business, DNV Cyber.
Nevaste joins DNV Cyber from Google Cloud, where she led the Nordic division of Digital Natives, a business enabling high-growth companies born in the cloud to scale securely and sustainably. She will be based in Helsinki, Finland.
With more than two decades of experience in technology services including cybersecurity, cloud computing, data, AI and digital transformation, Nevaste brings a unique blend of technical expertise, strategic leadership, and customer centricity to DNV Cyber. Her career spans senior roles at Google and IBM, where she led businesses focused on cybersecurity and other advanced technology solutions across the Nordics, Europe and the Middle East, and Asia Pacific.

DNV Cyber was established in 2024 through the integration of three expert organizations: Nixu, a trusted IT cybersecurity partner in the Nordics; Applied Risk, a specialist in operational technology and industrial control system security company; and DNV. Today, DNV Cyber’s experts operate from 11 countries, with a stronghold in Northern Europe and a global customer base.
