Webinar ISO 14001 Revision: Development, Changes and Transition
The ISO 14001:2026 – Development, Key Changes and Transition webinar provides a clear and up-to-date overview of the revision of the ISO 14001 standard, focusing on the development process, expected changes compared to the 2015 version, and transition timelines and rules.
The ISO 14001 standard for environmental management systems is currently undergoing a revision process that will result in the publication of ISO 14001:2026, expected in April 2026. Although the changes are considered limited compared to the 2015 revision, they introduce important adjustments to improve clarity, align with ISO’s Harmonized Structure, and strengthen key environmental topics such as climate change, life cycle perspective, and the management of risks and opportunities.
In this webinar, we will explore how the new version of ISO 14001 is being developed, the main changes expected compared to the current edition, and what organizations should already be considering to prepare for the transition. The session will also cover the expected transition timelines, the role of the IAF in defining transition rules, and expectations regarding the migration of existing certificates.
In addition, the webinar will provide a practical perspective on how to support organizations, auditors, and environmental management system professionals throughout this process, highlighting training programs, self-assessment tools, and other support options to ensure compliance and continuous improvement of environmental performance.
At the end of the session, there will be a dedicated Q&A segment, allowing participants to clarify doubts and deepen their understanding of ISO 14001:2026
