DNV Pipeline Day in Hamburg

Join us on 18 November in Hamburg to discuss pipeline network development in Germany and Northern Europe.

A reliable pipeline network is key to delivering Germany’s energy transition ambitions - yet recent geopolitical shifts require a rethink of both targets and routing.

Future network development will rely on both H₂ and CO₂ pipelines, enabled through a mix of new builds and repurposed infrastructure. As ageing assets take on a critical role, robust acceptance criteria and asset integrity are moving firmly into focus.

Building on last year’s discussions and knowledge exchange, we will again bring together stakeholders from across the pipeline value chain to explore the latest developments, challenges and opportunities - from safety, project timelines and cross-border transports to the complex new technology for developing fossil and renewables infrastructure.

Our aim is to foster a continuous dialogue and close cooperation among all stakeholders in the German energy industry: we strongly believe that this is essential for driving forward the energy transition and achieving a deep decarbonization across all sectors.

A preliminary agenda will be published after the summer break.
