Sustainable water management course

A one-day course giving an overview of global water risks and challenges to businesses.

This highly interactive course is designed to enable participants to gain knowledge of the different initiatives and tools for sustainable water management and identify the challenges relevant to their own organization’s management system.

The course will cover ISO 13046 and initiatives such as The Water Footprint Network’s Global Water Footprint Standard and the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) International Water Stewardship Standard.

Objective:

On successful completion of this course, attendees will:

  • Understand water risks and challenges.
  • Be aware of existing initiatives and tools for addressing water topics.
  • Be able to identify the tools and/or initiatives applicable to operationalize their organization’s strategies.
  • Be able to measure performance and communicate results.

  • Environmental managers.
  • Sustainability managers.
  • Management system responsible parties.
  • Anyone interested in sustainable water management.
