This two-day course equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to plan, conduct, and follow up internal audits within food safety and quality management systems, supporting audit readiness and ongoing compliance.
The Internal Auditor course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to undertake internal audits within food safety and quality management systems. The training explains the roles and responsibilities of internal auditors, how to plan and conduct effective internal audits, and how to produce concise, accurate, and factual audit reports.
Delivered through a combination of workshop led discussions, presentations, and an interactive case study, the course provides practical experience in audit planning, audit execution, and audit follow up activities. Participants will also learn how to report issues, make effective use of BRCGS resources, and understand the purpose and scope of the BRCGS compliance programme, ensuring organizations are well prepared for third party audits and ongoing compliance.
