RuleAgent addresses this challenge by providing access to DNV’s official rule content with the assistance of artificial intelligence (AI). Developed by DNV and connected to the DNV rules and standards database, RuleAgent guides users to relevant sections and aims to provide clear summaries of the content.

When a vessel is selected, RuleAgent uses the vessel information, such as ship type and class notations, to help narrow down the applicable regulatory content. This means you get better targeted searches with improved relevance.
