Our work focuses on sustainable growth, efficiency in operations and control with risks in the Aquaculture value chain through new technologies and digitalisation.

This includes research into innovative and more productive physical systems, better methods of disease control, more efficient risk control during operations, and approaches to prevent or minimize the industry’s environmental impacts.

We also take a holistic view of aquaculture in relation to other ocean-based industries to better understand how they can co-exist and how we can achieve spatial efficiency, circularity and shared costs and resources.
