Cybersecurity funding for Finnish companies in 2026 – Partner with DNV Cyber to deliver results

The Finnish National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC-FI), operating under the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom, has launched a funding programme to support Finnish organisations in strengthening their cybersecurity capabilities. This initiative is part of Finland’s implementation of the Cybersecurity Act (124/2025) and aims to raise the overall level of cybersecurity across the country.

“At DNV Cyber, our purpose is to safeguard life, property, and the environment. As part of this commitment, we also work to protect the critical infrastructure that supports society and enables the continuity of essential services. By strengthening Finland’s digital resilience, we help organisations subject to the EU’s NIS2 Directive not only in complying with the National Cybersecurity Act but also in building robust cyber defences that support the growth and security of Finnish business,” said Risto Vuori, Head of GRC and Awareness at DNV Cyber.

Funding is available to support the adoption of the new cybersecurity legislation and to advance the deployment and dissemination of modern cybersecurity solutions. DNV Cyber is ready to assist its customers and other interested organizations that meet the criteria and wish to apply for the funding. The call is open until 16 October 2025 at 16:15 EEST.

If you are unsure whether your organisation falls under the scope of the Act, you can verify this through the Cybersecurity Act itself.

Large enterprises, public administration entities governed by the Act on Information Management in Public Administration Act (906/2019), and organisations not listed in the registry are not eligible.

The funding supports projects that:
