Safe telehandler operations

The Safe Telehandler Operations Training is designed to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills to operate telehandlers safely and efficiently. Telehandlers, also known as telescopic handlers or rough terrain forklifts, are versatile machines commonly used in construction, agriculture, and other industries for material handling and lifting tasks.   • To Explain load charts and capacity ratings and emphasize proper load handling techniques
  • Train participants on emergency response protocols and cover procedures for stabilizing the machine in case of tipping
  • Provide guidance on evacuation and first aid in emergency situations.

Entry requirement

  • No specific educational prerequisites for participation, but a basic understanding of workplace safety practices is advantageous
  • 2 years UAE or GCC experience
  • Ability to read/speak the English language.

  • Theoretical assessment at the end of the course
  • Practical assessment on an excavator.

Certificate and validity

Certificate of attendance, valid for 2 years, issued on completion of the assessment.
