Elected safety representatives development training program

DNV is providing bespoke training courses for operators that have Elected Safety Representatives wishing to attend this additional development training.

There are four units in total, each focusing on different aspects of Safety Representative activities;

• Unit 1 - Understand and identify major accidents hazards
• Unit 2 - Understand risk analysis to support in the preparation and revision of safety cases
• Unit 3 - Investigate incidents and apply root cause analysis
• Unit 4 - Conduct independent inspections & audits and present findings and concerns effectively.

Delegates can choose which units they would like to attend. The courses are delivered by experienced practitioners using a range of training methods which will ensure maximum retention of topics covered in each course.

Please note the attendance on this programme is open to learners who are in possession of an Offshore Safety Representative Initial Training Certificate, and be up to date with current safety legislation.
