  • DP Classes -  using IMO Circulars 645 and 1580 to understand Class Notations
  • DP Functionality, redundancy and failure response testing
  • Design features - Interpretation of DNV class rules
  • The Failure Mode Effect Analysis – concepts and guidance for preparing the DP FMEA and the trials program
  • DP Capability Assessment
  • Documentation, installation and test requirements in terms of DNV class rules
