We observe an accelerated technology development and adoption, driven by digital technologies following exponential growth, and having a global impact, powered by data generation and connectivity. With an increased demand for transparency, the promise of efficiency gains, and the reduced cost of sensors and connectivity, it is likely that availability of ship data will grow. Increased data availability and improved data sharing also open new opportunities for value creation, for closing trust gaps and remodel related value chains and business models.
We will help the industry tackle this transformation by understanding of opportunities and risks, of emerging digital technologies . We will create new assurance services enabled through access; trust; understanding; and use of data and we will explore real-time assurance frameworks.
