The collaboration will promote knowledge sharing on international medical device regulations and support joint educational activities for the medical device industry.

DNV has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Institute of Medical Device Safety Information (NIDS) of Korea to strengthen collaboration on educational initiatives and the sharing of knowledge related to international medical device regulations.

Signed on 7 July, the agreement establishes a framework for collaboration through education programmes, seminars and forums, providing opportunities to share developments in the international regulatory landscape and facilitate dialogue with the medical device industry.

As international regulatory frameworks continue to evolve, understanding regulatory developments has become increasingly important for the medical device sector. Through this collaboration, DNV and NIDS aim to promote greater awareness of international medical device regulations and encourage knowledge exchange across the industry.

The MoU reflects a shared commitment by DNV and NIDS to strengthen industry engagement through education and knowledge sharing, contributing to a broader understanding of international medical device regulations across the medical device sector.
