Confidentiality of incident handling
All information received and exchanged during incident handling with the crew of the vessel in casualty and with the shore-based team of the vessel operator are kept confidential and handled accordingly. Whenever third parties request information about an incident, ship owner’s or ship manager’s representatives are consulted for instructions.
