According to DNV's Energy Transition Outlook (ETO) 2025, liquefied natural gas (LNG) is expected to remain an important part of the global energy mix for years to come, supporting energy security and the transition to lower carbon fuels. 

LNG has been modelled in DNV's risk management solutions for many years and remains an important application area. Our solutions have been used extensively for LNG studies and are continuously maintained, developed and validated against a wide range of experimental data.
