Floating offshore wind turbines can significantly expand the area for wind energy development as they can be used in deeper water compared to fixed structures. About the speaker:

Torgeir Vada has a PhD in Hydrodynamics from the University of Oslo in 1985. He has been working in DNV GL since then and with Sesam since 1997, first as a developer and then in various line manager positions. He currently holds a position as Product Manager for Floating structures.
