EU MRV – Monitoring, Reporting and Verification

Accredited by Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle (DAkkS), DNV SE is our verification body for EU MRV, offering extensive experience gained through the verification of more than 35,000 EU MRV reports. This verification service is based on a digital reporting format for bunker and operational data.

Our system-to-system connection facilitates automated data transfer to streamline reporting. Verification teams verify the emissions report data by analysing the underlying log abstract and bunker report data. They consider external sources and carry out site visits as required to ensure reasonable assurance of the EU MRV emissions figures for EU ETS.

As an accredited verification body for EU MRV, DNV SE provides you with assessments and verifications of the following documents according to Regulation (EU) 2025/757 as amended by Regulation (EU) 2023/957 and Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/2917, and provides you with the respective compliance documents:

1. Assessment of monitoring plans (for subsequent approval by the administering authorities)
2. Verification of partial and annual emissions reports (ship level)
3. Verification of emissions reports on company level
