Precision medicine has the ambition to improve treatment response and clinical outcomes through patient stratification. To enable this in psychiatry; access to relevant data sources, development and validation of stratification and prediction tools, and clinically useful management platforms are required.
The transformation from current practice to precision psychiatry offer large opportunities to improve treatment outcomes and quality of life of individuals with mental disorders.
