In July 2016, CIP (Critical Infrastructure Protection) Version 6 became enforceable for medium and high impact cyber assets. At the time of the initial roll-out, NERC (North American Reliability Corporation) delayed the cyber and physical protection of low impact cyber assets until April 2018. The following are newly enforceable NERC requirements, in April 2017 and 2018 respectively, for all Wind and Solar Entities connected to100kV or higher transmission facilities. Ask yourself, are you and your company ready?
