Healthcare services are facing a revolution in the use of digital tools to improve clinical decision making. The project position paper “Big data management for the precise treatment of three patient groups” was launched February 8th 2018 as part of the BigMed project. The report provides insights into enabling technologies, opportunities and barriers for using big data analytics to provide more precise diagnosis and interventions for patients, based on the three BigMed clinical groups.
