This report explores the barriers that prevent knowledge from being effectively implemented in Norwegian aquaculture.
Drawing on extensive literature research, in-depth interviews with industry stakeholders, and a broad industry survey, the study identifies the key challenges shaping how knowledge flows through the industry and where it breaks down.
While many discussions focus on technology or regulation, the findings reveal that organizational dynamics often play a critical role. Internal structures, communication flows, decision-making processes, and stakeholder interactions can significantly influence whether new knowledge is adopted, delayed, or lost.
