Recommended practice

Edition 2019-09 - Amended 2021-09

This recommended practice (RP) focuses on providing a methodology for assessing the risks and required protection from dropped crane loads and ship impact to risers and pipeline systems within the safety zone of installations. Accidental scenarios with other relevant activities such as anchor handling, subsea operations and trawling are also discussed.
