Automobili Lamborghini receives ESG Recognition from DNV

Automobili Lamborghini has received the ESG Recognition from DNV, acknowledging the company’s structured approach to sustainability across environmental, social and governance dimensions.

Automobili Lamborghini is a globally recognized manufacturer of super sports cars, known for combining high-performance engineering with innovation and design. The recognition further reinforces the company’s commitment to integrating sustainability principles into its processes and operational standards.

A management system compliant with recognized, best-practice standards provides a structured approach for a company to continually manage and improve its performance in any given area of its business.  The ESG recognition confirms that a company uses certified management systems to support its commitments.

DNV’s Barbara Frencia, CEO of Business Assurance, presented the recognition at Automobili Lamborghini’s headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese.

“In a complex landscape such as ESG, leadership is recognized by the ability to translate principles into action. With the ESG Recognition, we are not expressing an opinion but confirming the fact that Automobili Lamborghini has implemented a certifiable approach in support of its sustainability strategy. Having multiple management systems certified to recognized standards, support company commitments in each if the E, S, and G dimensions and demonstrates to stakeholders how these are systematically translated into measurable operational performance,” said Barbara Frencia, CEO of Business Assurance at DNV.

The ESG recognition awarded to Automobili Lamborghini is underpinned by certifications linked to each of the three ESG dimensions. ISO 14001 confirms the company’s environmental management system, ISO 45001 covers occupational health and safety management, while ISO 9001 certifies the company’s quality management system.

Additional certifications include ISO 50001 for energy management and EMAS for environmental management and auditing. Automobili Lamborghini has also renewed company-wide certifications for ISO/IEC 27001 for information security and ISO/IEC 27701 for personal information management.

Together, these certifications reflect Automobili Lamborghini’s structured governance approach across environmental impact, health and safety, quality, information security and data protection.
