Maritime Cybersecurity Summit 2026
Join us on 1 September 2026 during SMM to gain first-hand insights into cybersecurity regulations and maritime implementation in practice.
As digitalization, system integration and automation continue to accelerate across the shipping industry, cybersecurity has become a critical design, integration and business requirement. At the same time, manufacturers, system integrators and suppliers are navigating an increasingly complex and fast-evolving regulatory landscape.
The Maritime Cybersecurity Summit, hosted by DNV in cooperation with VDMA, brings together senior leaders from across the maritime technology ecosystem. We will discuss practical approaches to implementing cybersecurity in products, systems and vessel architectures that enable through-life operational security and resilience.
The event focuses on real-world implementation, exploring how cybersecurity can be effectively embedded into maritime products and systems – against a backdrop of increasing cyber risk driven by cybercrime, geopolitical tensions and rapid technological change.
Industry perspectives from system integrators, equipment manufacturers, technology providers, ship owners and classification will translate regulatory expectations such as IACS UR E26/E27, IMO ISM, NIS2 and the EU Cyber Resilience Act into operational reality. Speakers will share concrete challenges, trade-offs and best practices from implementation.
The event concludes with a networking reception, providing further opportunities for exchange with peers and experts.
The session will be recorded and made available after SMM.
