DNV puts cyber security at the heart of Integrated Systems Europe (ISE)

Join DNV at ISE

The Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) is the world’s leading audiovisual (AV) and integrated systems business sector event and will take place from 30 January - 2 February 2023 in Barcelona. The event will feature over 1000 companies from 170 different countries, showcasing the latest technology innovations and solutions. Since 2004 ISE has brought together the AV & systems integration industry and draws in around 58.000 visitors at the show in addition to more than 6000 conference participants (data from 2023).

Cyber security will be a key area of focus during this year’s ISE and its Control Rooms Summit and Smart Workplace Summit. DNV has been invited to lead two keynote presentations and panel discussions featuring important aspects of cyber security to the sector.

Innovation and digitalisation are key to growth in the audiovisual and integrated systems business sector and its multiple solution providers. Physical systems are becoming more networked and connected while, artificial intelligence adoption is creating new solutions and services. But by unlocking new opportunities, the industry is also unlocking new vulnerabilities.

Cyber security threats are now recognized as a major business risk that goes beyond reputations and balance sheets. Companies cannot reap the benefits of digitalization, without cyber security.  The need to protect technology and the environment that it is deployed into, is high on the agenda for many in the sector. To demonstrate the importance of a holistic design approach to cyber security, Shaun Reardon, principal cyber security consultant at DNV Cyber will be the keynote speaker and panellist on the following topics:

  • Protecting the control room: the need for cyber security – January 30, 11.10-11.30 in Room CC5.2
In this presentation Shaun will explain the complexity and risk connected to supply chain cyber security in an integrated environment and how to mitigate these.
  • Cyber war games and the unseen risks in the office – January 31, 15.35-16.00 in Room CC5.1
Cyber security starts in people's mind. Shaun will dive into less considered aspects of cyber security such as espionage and trust and explain why it is difficult to assess the risk and defend your business.
