China Europe Maritime Summit

The China Europe Maritime Summit brings together senior leaders from Chinese shipbuilding and the European shipping community for a morning of dialogue on cooperation, industry development, and the technologies shaping the maritime transition.
Hosted by DNV in partnership with CANSI and VDR, the summit connects two sides of the maritime value chain at a time when closer collaboration matters more than ever. It is aimed at shipowners, shipyards, suppliers, and industry representatives with an interest in the China-Europe maritime relationship.
The programme includes:
- Welcome address by Knut Ørbeck-Nilssen, DNV CEO
- Opening keynotes speeches from Chinese and European representatives
- Opening keynote by VDR President Gaby Bornheim, CEO, Peter Döhle Schiffahrt
- High-level panel discussion: Industry development, cooperation, and key initiatives, moderated by Martin Kröger, VDR
- Thematic panel discussion: Technology innovation and transition pathways, including examples and concrete solutions
The event concludes with a networking lunch, providing further opportunities for exchange with peers and experts.
