DNV-ST-0438 Control and protection systems for wind turbines

This standard (ST) provides principles and technical requirements for the control and protection systems for wind turbines onshore and offshore. 

The objectives of this ST are to:

• provide an acceptable level of safety and quality by defining minimum requirements for the control and protection system of wind turbines
• serve as design basis for designers, suppliers, purchasers and regulators
• specify requirements for wind turbines subject to DNV certification.
