Three DNV women recognized in Women in Renewable Energy (WiRE)’s Top Women in Energy Transformation in Canada
Explore the stories of some of Canada’s most inspiring climate leaders
Women have been at the forefront of Canada’s energy system transformation for decades and are leading emissions reduction strategies, advocating for a just transition, inventing cutting-edge clean technology, and much more. The Pembina Institute and GLOBE Series have partnered to create the Women in Energy Transformation Series to celebrate the women advancing Canada’s transition to a clean economy. DNV is proud to have three women recognized in Women in Renewable Energy (WiRE)’s Top Women in Energy Transformation in Canada.
This recognition comes at a time when the Canadian government’s 2022 Fall Economic Statement introduces new 30% tax credits for clean technology—offered to entities that invest in net-zero technologies, battery storage, and clean hydrogen—further propelling the adoption of green technologies in North America. DNV is pleased to see Marion Hill, Melissa Morrison, and Chelsea Scheske selected for this great honor. These women are making great strides in their careers and are helping DNV accelerate and support a just and equitable global energy transition.
